Manipogo is one of Manitoba's best-kept secrets. This beautiful provincial park, which is located in the RM of Lawrence, is situated in the Parkland region. This beach is situated on the northern part of Lake Manitoba. This area is known for its legend of the Manipogo Monster that has stirred interest from the early 1800s with numerous sightings but with no conclusive evidence. This beach area has short hiking trails; a spacious beach and children's playgrounds. This park is also a great place for boating and angling.
Manipogo is only located about 10 kms north of Rorketon, where you can pick up most of your camping supplies and if you have time play a round of golf at Raven Range Golf Course with nine holes, with sand greens situated in the heart of Rorketon.
